Privacy Policy
This policy explains what the Supame app and website collect, why, and what you can do about it. We keep it short and plain.
Who we are
Supame is operated by Saviz Artang. Questions or requests: contact@supame.app.
What we collect
- Account details. Your email address and, if the sign-in service shares it, your name. These come from Sign in with Apple, Sign in with Google or email sign-up.
- What you log. The food photos, text and chat messages you send, and the meals, portions and corrections that result. Original photos are stored with your account.
- Voice. When you tap the microphone, speech is turned into text on your phone. Only the text is sent to us; we don't receive or store audio.
- Goal details. Your goal, age, sex, height, weight, activity level and pace, used to work out your daily target.
- Technical logs. Request IDs, timings, errors, app events, crash and hang reports, device and app version, time zone, and records of each request we process. We use these to keep the service working and fix problems.
The app has no advertising or third-party analytics tools, and it does not read Apple Health data.
How we use it
Only to provide the service: to recognise and log your meals, estimate their nutrition, calculate your daily target, show your history, and keep the app secure and reliable.
Processing by AI providers
To produce estimates, the photos and text you send are processed by third-party AI providers: Google Cloud (Vertex AI), OpenRouter and the model providers it reaches, and OpenAI. They process your request to return a result. We do not sell your data to them or to anyone else.
Where your data is stored
Your account and data are stored on Google Cloud (including Firebase) in the United States. AI providers may process a request in other locations under their own terms.
Sharing
We don't sell your data, and we don't show ads or share your data with advertisers. We share data only with the service providers above, as needed to run Supame, or when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep your data until you delete your account. To delete your account and its data, email contact@supame.app from the address you signed up with. An in-app option will come later.
To fix mistakes and improve accuracy, the text of requests and the AI's replies (not photos) are kept in restricted operator logs for up to 30 days, then deleted automatically. Usage metrics without content (like counts, timing and cost) are kept up to a year.
Security
Only you and the operator (for support and reliability) can access your data. Other users never can. Data is encrypted in transit.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data or ask us to delete it by emailing contact@supame.app. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights, such as correcting your data; ask us and we'll help.
Children
Supame is not for children under 13, or under 16 in the European Union. If you believe a child has given us data, contact us and we'll delete it.
Health
Supame gives estimates for general wellness. It is not medical advice. Talk to a doctor or dietitian about medical or dietary needs.
This website
This website doesn't use cookies or analytics and makes no third-party requests: its fonts and images are served from our own site.
Changes
We may update this policy. When we do, we'll change the effective date above, and we'll tell you in the app if the change is significant.
